Trail Run
Come Join the 4 Wheeling Fun!
The Hi Country 4 Wheeling Club is a family-oriented 4 wheel drive club involved in a variety of activites. All 4 wheel drive vehicles, including ATV's are welcome. Some trails may recommend special equipment (lockers, tire height, or lift kit), but we encourage anyone to come and check out the Club.

Club Meetings:
The Club meets the first Wednesday of each month at Route 6 in West Glenwood, CO at 7:00pm.

The Hi Country 4 Wheelers is proud to support the following groups:
  • Colorado State Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, Inc.
  • United 4 Wheel Drive Association
Trail Run in Moab, UT Clean up on the Flattops Boot at Berthod Motors

  • WILDERNESS MEANS no motorized or mechanized use of any kind will be allowed for recreational purpose. This includes bicycles.
  • The Hidden Gems proposal is over 400,000 acres of new wilderness in the White River National Forest, Gunnison National Forest and BLM lands.
  • Colorado already has 3.4 million acres of Wilderness throughout its various National Forests

Trail adopion includes cleaning up trails, maintenance, etc. Currently the Club has adopted 5 trails:

Remember to fill out a Trail Clean-Up form to document your efforts to keep our trails clean.

Trail Runs
The group travels to areas all over Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. Trips range from day trips to several days. All are welcome to join the Club on any scheduled run.

Dates: Hidden Gems Community Forums
Congressman Jared Polis Is holding a series of community forums to discuss Hidden Gems.

Hidden Gems

The Hi Country 4 Wheelers Club is actively opposing the efforts of Hidden Gems. The Club believes in keeping public lands open for all responsible uses. We have partnered with the White River Forest Alliance (WRFA) to stop this effort to shut down thousands of acres of our National Forests.

What land is proposed to be closed?
